There is no single right or wrong meaning for this word.

To commit is to make a position known. To bind oneself. To make a pledge.

Commitment gets work done. It strengthens relationships and communities.

But commitment to an ideology, a concept or a person can also divide us.

The question behind this work is not simply whether we commit.

It is what we choose to commit to.
